Positive: The hotel is breathtaking. Truly a once in a lifetime experience - pure magic in the middle of the desert. The magic is in every single detail in the design of every room and every space of the hotel, in the complete peace and quiet, and the amazing views everywhere you look.

Negative: The food. The whole F&B department needs work, because the experience is far from what one expects in a luxury resort that costs so much. Breakfast is nice, nothing extraordinary, not enough fruit and vegetable options, and the presentation of the food is not very attractive. Dinner is even more disappointing, while it's served in a chef restaurant, the level of the food is very far from an average fine dining dinner in Tel Aviv. Some of the dishes were so bad we had to return them, some were just okay. The beverage department doesn't impress much either, especially in the pool where one expects a variety of cocktails and soft drinks. The hotel is so impressive, and we enjoyed our stay so much - which is why it's such a shame that the food experience is so detached from everything else instead of making it all complete.

Positive: The view around the hotel is serene, wonderful undisturbed view from the huge room windows and from the porch and no one will walk there. Everything is designed perfectly, full privacy, flowing lines that blend into the shapes of the land. Service is impeccable, atmosphere tranquil, very quiet. Low lights at night allow seeing the stars, which at these times is rare. Food is exceptional.

Negative: The bed is built into the center of the room, and its base is much too wide, so that it is somewhat uncomfortable getting into and out of the bed. In some areas you can hear the air-conditioning or swimming pool machines, and this breaks the silence. It would be much nicer if this noise could be muffled. Spa treatments are extremely expensive, so much so that it is deterrent.

Positive: Most of the staff if not all are very good with customer relations - it’s not the formal style but highly professional fun and quirky

Negative: Service at restaurants is a tad slow almost to the level we thought they’ve forgotten us with morning drinks by the end of the meal (they did not have our bon.. or at desert which came after a reminder.. but the food and staff was so good and so kind.. we didn’t really care for this

Positive: The crew were so nice since the moment we entered the facility until the moment we left. Even after we left they called us after they noticed we forgot one of our bags and made the arrangements to ship it over to our house. It is clear they know what they are doing and they are a group of professionals. The facility is amazing, providing outstanding views all around it, and the required silence for the guests. The food is most likely the best we ever had in a hotel in Israel.

Summary: Overall exceptional experience, which will make us return soon with our wider family.

Positive: The facility and location is great. The view is super and the atmosphere as well. Food was just OK.

Negative: The hotel sold most of the rooms to a public organization named Israeli Electric company. The concept of bringing an organization to this kind of hotel is very problematic because it becomes very " gaudy." We had a couple in the next room that invited 2 other couples to a late night drink, and they were so noise that it was impossible to stay outside of our room. When we asked the hotel to handle this , it took them 1.5h to take care of it. Then they gave us a small compensation. The bottom line is very problematic to bring organizations to a vacation in such high-level hotels .
